![]() ![]() I get the error: Found xxxxx files that are missing from the remote storage, please run repair. Furthermore, when you edit anything in a profile it simply doesn't run anymore. Though it seems to have quite some bugs since it's a beta and I don't know if I want/should (to) trust it for backing up my important files. Although a lot of back up software might have this functionality as well, but I'm not sure/aware about that. This might come in handy when I go travel in the future and want to back up my laptop to my NAS. Like the idea of the software and the fact that it's open source, you can access it through a browser and remotely (I assume). Which isn't the biggest problem if this proofs to suit my needs the best. Like it very much, lightweight, easy to setup and use, very clear and simple UI, but rather expensive.I tried quite some alternatives years ago of which I can't remember the names. ![]() But I got sick of it after getting so much errors due to character deviations in file names (not sure how else to call it) in my music collection after every back up job.Īlso, they stripped the free version heavily a few years ago so I used an old version which has more functionality. I back up to my Synology NAS and I used to use the free version of SyncBack for many many years. I'm on Windows 10 and looking for backing up my files, so not system backups (only) software. So please no "I'm using Sony's: my first back up and that works fine for me" type of comments. ![]()
